Hi I'm new to Backyard chickens and to chickens. This site will be a lot of help to me  and my son jack .Are little Lady's will be here in one month and were so excited.We've built a 6x8 chicken ark on an old trailer hope that big enough for the 6 lady's. lots still to do, auto water and feed light and out door area the wife and older kids think were craze but heck we like eggs .Not sure if we got the right type of chicks to start with white leghorns but if all goes well more in the future  well buy for now cant lay around all night got to get crackin

Hi no silkie getting 6 white leghorn next month good layer we like eggs but the silkies are cool looking though

TIME is the best thing to spend on a child!
Always calibrate your hygrometer before you incubate!!
