I've never seen one like this. I saw it at the feed store. The girl working there said she had silkie and had no idea. So I took 2 home and promised I'd take pics when they were older to show her what color they'd turn out to be. lol. The color in the photo is dead on, btw. It really is silvery gray with black stripes! Almost like a silver laced chick!

I have a splash silkie. They are just like any other splash breed, sort of a mottled light yellow and gray, no stripes or anything. I've never seen a chick that had stripes turn out splash. I'm really confused by this one. It looks like a silver laced chick to me. It would be SO COOL if it did turn out gray with black tipped fluff! Too cute!
