We moved all the topics in the 3 new sections into the "Other pets" section and we'll be deleting the 3 new sections. :)

It is a VERY tricky balance.   We try to have something that isn't too far fetched that nobody will believe it, but also not too believable that nobody thinks it is a joke.  We also try to do stuff that won't cause potential freaking out.  We have a LOT of good ideas that we unfortunately can't try because it may give some members heart attacks.  wink.png

You know, Rob, I don't want to see anyone get hurt, but I wouldn't mind if you cranked it up a notch or two!!  I think that the ones that "freak" would get over it (they always do...eventually.)

x2

You guys check out The Easy Garden, there is a section on gardening with animals and most people there are also members of BYC and have chickens.  The pace is much more laid back over there but once you get used to the slower tempo, it's very relaxing.

I fell for it too, I was kind of upset that it was kinda like supporting having exotic animals.  But, kept my opinion to myself (rare)!

My first thought after reading all the comments from people wanting exotic pets was

[ I'll be seeing you on "Fatal Attractions" (on Animal Planet) in a few years... ]

You're right. And every year after that, I sat back and waited for that year's April Fool joke and laughed at the responses of each year's joke. gig.gif
