Chicks in the big city

I have a question about combining chicken breeds, as well as a question about type of coop.

 

We have a wooden coop with three nesting boxes, a perch, and a runway. We also have a large, fenced-in yard.

 

I ordered Amerucana chicks, and I'm wondering if I can also have Bantam Silkies. Will they get along? Do I need another coop for the Silkies?

Another question...what is the best resource in or near Chicago for chicken supplies? My brother built the coop and gave us feed and watering containers, but I need chicken food?

 

Is organic better? I don't want to feed my chickens anything I'm not willing to eat myself!

They should all get along fine, as long as they are the same size/age when you get them as little chicks.

TIME is the best thing to spend on a child!
Always calibrate your hygrometer before you incubate!!
