Be careful how and where you spray vinegar. It burns all plants it touches. So if you use it on weeds in lawns it will leave a dead spot in your lawn. I have used it in gravel and cracks with varied success.

It works best on hot sunny days. It will kill the leaves but not swiftly, and it doesn't kill the roots so they will regrow. Need to keep reapplying. And it can give your yard a bit of odor well like an urinal. hmm.png

It is less effective on tough weeds like dandelion, works very well on softer, more tender weeds.

It is much safer to the environment than most of the chemical herbicides.

I find regular handweeding in the lawn and beds much better. And use round-up in the gravel driveway.

Viniger will kill them fast

"... the avenging arm of God will strike the wicked, and in his mighty power he will punish their pride and presumption. God will employ the powers of hell for the extermination of these impious and heretical persons who desire to overthrow the Church and destroy it's foundation. .... Innumerable legions of demons shall overrun the earth and shall execute the orders of Divine Justice... Nothing...

I don't know if it's safer than other things (I'm not sure I believe some of the scare tactics used), but it's cheap to buy the generic, it works well. About 1- 1/2 oz does the driveway 1 x per year. And I won't hand weed the sharp gravel in the driveway.

I've used Roundup around my place for years, and I haven't had any problems. Along with using it to kill weeds around the garden,  I use it to kill the grass growing at the base of the electric poultry netting that surrounds my coop.  It beats having to move the fence and cut the grass with a mower.  None of my chickens have dropped dead or shown any sign of illness or genetic damage.  I haven't noticed any weird chemical or off taste to any eggs.  People need to relax a little bit.
