Hi 'Wrangler

No, I didnt know of them but will check them out, Pinconning is just about 45 miles south of me so very doable.

My preference if I can find them is Reindeer, a trio or pair to start.

We'll see.

Right now no large animals, just Icelandic Chickens and some Bantams. Plus 3 cats who own all . That will change this year.

Icelandics, brought to Iceland by Vikings in the 9th century, winterhardy, freeranging, an ancient homestead breed that broods, a steady producer of white eggs.Very variable in color,  comb style  and feathering. Like Forest Gumps box of Chocolates, 'You never know what you are going to get". My  Homesteader Breeds;  Icelandic Chickens, Chantecler,  Delaware and Iowa Blues.

Jake, you still in Michigan? You might want to look into Deer Acres by Pinconning. They sell their extra deer and elk from time to time

Yeah that would be at the Whitetail Hall of Fame, deer farm and museum... They have a bunch of white deer.

Sorry Jake, I don't know of anyone that has caribou,, though I'd personally love to have a few myself!

Hi. Im looking to get 2 fallow deer. 2 unrelated. Was wondering if you could tell me about them and what they eat and how much it costs to feed.

I know someone who raised a deer since it was a baby, some hunter shot its mom :/ Hunting is also forbidden in his area, the people there put signs up at the dirt road that say "NO HUNTING". It's a small little country area that has people living in the mountains too, that's where the deer guy lives. Bless his heart.

I visited his property before to see the deer, seems to be a doe and I don't know too much about it.. It lives peacefully amongst his 7 or 8 dogs. That was a couple years ago though. I have no idea if he still has it or not.

I like ferrets.
