Mareks vaccine-is it too late?

I have 2 seven week old pullets and 2 two week old chicks. Is it too late to order them the Mareks vaccine?
Mom of 5 wonderful kids, 2 dogs, 1 bunny,

1 Rhode Island Red (Henny Penny) and 1 Barred Rock (Mrs.Cluck) and 2 Production Reds (Popcorn and Chicken Little)

I thought you had to vaccinate day old chicks.  I could be wrong though.  :)

I was at a poultry seminar last weekend and I asked the vet that same question. She said "Too late!"   

Just hope for the best and have good nutrition and sanitation.  Hope this answers your question.  I am in the same boat.  My hen just hatched out seven chicks.D.gif

I've been doing a lot of reading on here of old threads and found out you can vaccinate for mereks at any age. It may not be as strong as with one day old chicks but will offer some protection. Some is better than none!
I'm also going to vaccinate for fowl pox. We gt lots of rain and misquetios here!
After 5 weeks old you use the fowl pox vaccine for older birds.
