Incubating Ring Neck Pheasant eggs

I need some information on what the temp should be at, the humidity and how many days please thank you

99.5 for all bird eggs.Ringnecks take 25 days to hatch.

My ringneck eggs actually start hatching day 23. My other types of pheasants take a little longer.

The info I have states that ringneck eggs take 28 days to hatch and temp. at 99.5.

I have in my incubators right now, Chinese Ringneck, Blueback Ringneck, Black Ringneck (51 total). I also have Eastern Turkey, Rio Grande Turkey, Bourbon Red Turkey (18 total) in my bators, along with 12 Duck and 4 Chicken eggs. I set them to hatch at different times/days.

If, as you have stated, the Ringnecks will hatch in 25 days, this is going to screw me all up as I only have 1 hatching bator. Are you SURE they will hatch in 25 days????? 11 of my turkey eggs are due to hatch on the 22nd day of the ringneck eggs.

If I pull my Ringneck eggs out of the auto turner on the 22nd day and they actually take 28 days, as the info I have states, will this have an effect on the hatch since the turning the eggs stops 3 days before the hatch???

My ringnecks hatch in 23 days I stop turning them on the 21st day. I Incubate them at 45% humidity and hatch them at 65% humidity and usuall always have over 90% hatch rate.

I just had a broody hen hatched two pheasant eggs along with three silkie eggs. The silkies hatched on day 20th & 21st and the pheasants hatched exactly on day 23th a minute apart from each other.

All ring neck pheasant eggs I've hatched (back when I was a kid) take 23-24 days.

Problem solved, I hope. Went and bought another LG Still Air to use as a hatcher. I now have 2 to use for incubation and 2 to use for hatching.

I modified the 2 hatchers by adding 1/4" tubes that run from the outside of the incubators to the water resivoirs so I won't have to open them during lockdown. I went to Wal-Mart and bought a pack of ketchup & mustard dispensers (squeeze bottles) to add hot water to the resivoirs through the tubes.

I also modified one of my LG incubators by making a 3" extension ring from styrofoam I bought at Lowe's to make the top of the LG sit higher for incubating turkey and goose eggs, (Using an auto turner makes these eggs sit too close to the heating element). The extension ring worked but I am having some trouble keeping the temps. in the incubator where they need to be so I have to keep readjusting the thermostat. I suspect the problem is the styrofoam I used to make the ring as the pores are not as tight as the styrofoam used to make the incubator. When this hatch is finished I am going to wrap the extension ring with 1/8" plywood so it will, hopefully, retain heat better.

5 Rio Grand and 6 Eastern turkey eggs, 32 Blueback Ringneck pheasant eggs and 7 Chinese Ringneck pheasant eggs going into the hatchers on may 2nd. Then, 6 Bourbon Red turkey eggs and 12 Black Ringneck pheasant eggs going into the hatchers on the 5th. 12 duck eggs, (breed unknown. Eggs are bluish-green in color), going into the hatcher on may 15th.

Yes the pheasant eggs do hatch around 22 days.
Also to mrgreenjeans53 I have noticed in the past when I tried to hatch with the still air incubator for pheasant eggs I have had horrible hatch rate. I found it was a waste of time putting them in their and finally built another incubator for around the same price as one of those still air incubators. I am only speaking on my experience with using that and others may have had great succcess but I did not.
