Silkie? Question

So I have this bantum I think is a Silkie.  Any ideas on what color it is and gender? As a chick it appeared brown with various markings, now it looks gray.   I have attached a chick photo and a photo at 6 1/2 weeks.  You have all been so helpful with the other, I figured I would give this one a try!  Thanks so much. bow.gif

its a silkie and too young to sex yet.  I wouldn't be surprised if it develops a reddish ring around its neck later on in a few months

silkies and (projects), sumatras, lakenvelders, frizzles, polish and (projects), sultans, buff orps, black sexlinks, turkeys, red golden pheasents, Peepers, dogs, cats, fish, horses, wild kids, and one very understanding DH, come on over for a visit to the crazy farm
