come back! You're killin' me smalls.
Probably time to step in if it isn't as active. Which may be what you're doing.
I'm with you.... candle air cell to find an entry point above where it has chipped away to make hole. Use fine pointed tool to poke carefully... chip enough away to look inside. If baby looks like covered in paperwrap plastic.... work FAST with warm wet qtips to free break and nares (holes in the upper part of beak). Wipe all papery looking membrane... take pic... and post. Since it was zipping already... it is possible by moistening the inside it will pop out in your hand.. be prepared for that too.

I'd chip away the shell that it already pipped from. Maybe try to continue the zip. I bet it's stuck in there with that fan blowing on it.

I agree, I would assist at this point. I make small little holes tapped with a short screw, to be like they do it. I use a warm mist spray, instead of q-tips, but only tiny sprays, not a drowning. If the membraine is white and not clear, you have to moisten it, and make a whole for the baby to breath, then very very slowly peel back membrane, extra carefully, and stop immediatly if you spot blood. If the baby is making noises still, there is hope.
Why don't sheep shrink in the rain?
Why is there brail at drive up ATMs??
Why are their floatation devices instead of parachutes in my airplain seat???
If a tree falls in the woods and my husband doesn't hear it, am I still wrong????

It already made itself an external pip though. She can just expand from that and find it's beak easier.
Where did she go?! I have to leave soon! lol.
