seem like a good breed, if i had the room i would probably raise a batch of them they seem like they would be a good 4h starter show bird...considering i dont see many of this breed in my class...

I’ve got a hen sitting on twelve eggs that should have attached Saturday and still no chicks. How long should I go before I give up hope, and should I find some baby chicks to put with her?

I would probably sneak one or possible two out and candle them quickly and return them.

Sometimes eggs will hatch beyond day 21 ...into day 22 and 23.. and did you count the day you put them under or the day after that? You need a full day so I count really the second day as day one. Good luck....I've got some broodies out there no and I'm waiting on their eggs to hatch...It's more nerve wracking for me than an incubator....

Lastly have you notice that she's moving much less the last day or two. That's a really good clue the hatching is near as well...
