She was still seething as she followed him on shore. Why do I bother to start to like a stallion? They are all just as inconsiderate as Dovev! She thought, becoming even angrier at the thought of her old mate.

A mist shrouded all view of Anaru and Raz. A similar mist surrounded Flicka and Calypso. The mare began to chant something in an unknown language.
