I'm not new to chickens, my Mom has some & I have helped her raise at least 3 flocks.

I don't own any of my own yet but I'm looking into getting some.

My Mom is the one how told me about backyard-chickens.com.

I have 2 cats & a dog, & No kids or a man.

I would appreciate any input on the temperaments & docility of Leghorns & Langshans especially based on color,

Mom had some Wyandotte & although the Columbines where quite docile & people friendly the Gold Laced where just totally opposite of the Columbines.

Welcome to BYC. Leghorns arnt docile, they are skittish. But they sure lay alot of eggs and eat less feed than other birds. I never had Langshans.

My silver Ameraucanas are nuts, while the wheatens are much less so. There are definitely behavior difference is based on color.
