That's a degree high for circulated air incubation, try 99.5 degrees.

If you have any pics of last season's Chocolates, compare them to this new lil guy.

Your keets looks quite a bit darker than my Blonde, but like I said, as it fluffs out more he may lighten up a little. Definitely a keeper tho thumbsup.gif

Ok, he has got a little darker now, and the other one I thought was going to be White turned out to be a Buff! Yay! He is sooo light so he must be a boy. Here is another picture.

I think you need to do more research then.  In North Carolina.  Because the only places I personally know of that even breed Cassowarys and Crested are in Florida.  I personally would love some Reichenowi and Vulturenes.... cant afford them.  Nor do I have an environment or can make an environment for their upkeep.

And this is not a friend but someone I know of that has them here at BYC.  You might do a string search yourself in the Forum Navigator bar and look for them.  This is a HUGE website I am sure you will find what you are looking for if you dig further.

Hi PeepsCA

What is a TB Pearl Grey? "Teddy Bear"? There are so many pretty colors that I am confused. I have seen the sites for colors but had not seen or heard of the "Teddy Bear" anything?idunno.gif However Ashley's keets  are so adorable!

I'm going to candle my eggs tonight and see what is growing if any. I am so nervous.fl.gif

Three guineas- one male ,two hens. One great supportive husband. 3 Japanese Chins. 4 grown children but no grands yet.

I am a huge gardener of flowers and some veggies.

Yah, TB stands for "Teddy Bear". It's not an official keet color or term, and it's not labeled on any color charts... but it is a term some breeders have coined to describe the keets that hatch with the blended/solid colored down and wider than normal center head stripe. They feather out looking like a normal fully pearled keet (it's only the fully pearled colors/varieties that hatch with this different down pattern), and they are usually at least a little bit Pied when they feather out all the way. We've discussed TBs on here quite a bit, you can do a search and pull up a few threads with pics and info.
