I would like to add one, possibly two more roosters to my flock. I was sort of thinking maybe I would get a smaller breed rooster, such as a Polish or silkie. I also considered getting bantam chicks but I was checking Craigslist and someone wanted to get rid of their rooster. It's a really pretty rooster but in their advertisement they say he can't get it done with the big girls. Is this a big problem for bantam chickens or is he an unusual case?

He'll certainly make a go of it if the hens let him! I had a banty roo, he was large for a banty, but way too small to be LF. He did his job as a roo, if the hens let him. One of the BRs didn't care for his advances, but the other girls didn't mind him.
