I have an chance to get a few Emu babys, and I want to be prepared. How large of an area do they need to start?
we are in process of fencing a 2 acre area for free ranging. The babys in question are 4 weeks old? Do they needs heat they have been on pasture with the parents. Should I shelter them at night. I have an enclosed run with roof sheltered on 2 sides right now it is 12x8 with a pro 20x8 yard is that ok for a temp home? What do i feed them ? do they need shots? medicated feed? Any help appreciated. thanks so much
