This has me stumped. My friend found this thing in his yard and it has been staying in his garage. He has no idea what it is. I have no idea what it is. I told him my best bet would be a turkey or peacock but the blue legs is throwing me off. I think some peacocks have blue legs but I am not sure. The legs are a bluish- gray color

It's a chicken, colored like one of my Pheonix chicks .......

That does look a little like it. I just can't figure out why it looks so weird. I do think it looks like a chicken but does it look a little bit "off" to anyone else? I thought about it being a guinea also... I think the Phoenix is probably pretty close to being it... I just don't know what it is about it that is throwing me off. Maybe it is the neck feathers. Those are pretty weird

Oh, and it is completely independent i think. As far I know the guy hasn't given it any food or water. It runs loose in his yard and comes in the garage every now and then.
Would a young chicken like that be so independent?
