I have at least 4 pips out of 8 chicken eggs and today is day 21! I'll be updating this thread as the process goes on, and I'll have some pictures! jumpy.gif

takes them awhile to hatch. anywhere from 24-36 hours sometimes.........it is hard work for those little guys!

After pipping, they may wait several hours before moving or trying to hatch. They must be building up the energy to burst out of the egg.

Well, I never had a hygrometer (STUPID ME!!!) and it looks like all of them died! I feel so awful! hit.gif he.gif

I am not, I candled them, though I didn't see moving, I saw blood vessels. I will be getting a hygrometer Wednesday.
