I thought this thread was gone. Anyway mine are in lockdown & their suppose to hatch tomorrow but I just looked & there's alot of piping going on. My fingers & toes are crossed. My hatches are always a day early. Its usually because the temps a little high. This time the temp was always right under a 100 & their still trying to get out early. Even though their piping it could be tomorrow before I see little iddy's. Good luck to all. I'll keep posting hope yall do as well.
I'm out of eggs. But I know where some brown ones are. I now raise big Ol' Honkin' Bob Whites & Layed back Coturnix. Pray For Rain In Texas!

We have 26 chicks in a brooder and I chick still in the incubator drying off. It was working on getting out yesterday, but didn't make it. I could see the opening looked dry. It had "shrink wrapped". The read out on my bator gets water vapor inside and I couldn't see what the humidity was. Very annoying. Plus my little ones kept taking out the red plug (had to tape it in). When we moved the others we could see it's beak and it was still pipping so, I wrapped it in a warm wet rag for a bit and then carefully pealed it. It is pretty wobbly, but trying to groom, so that's a good sign. (I hope.) I had one other start to zip and then stop. I couldn't detect any signs of life and I had two eggs that didn't pip at all. (They were dark shells and may have never developed. I wasn't sure about some of them.) Still not a bad hatch
