My new addition to my fowl.......Silver Phoenix....Pics

just traded 10 2 week old chicks for a Silver Phoenix Rooster its Hen with 3 baby chicks....here some pics

Looks like a pair of Silvers not Goldens........ But they are very pretty. I love my Silver, Gold and Whites. They are some of my most personable birds and hardly ever come to the feeder. They love eating bugs.... big_smile.png

Living and working on a Zoo farm - 300 plus chickens, fancy pigeons, Sebbies geese, turkey, crested ducks, peafowl, ornamental pheasant and ducks, Black swans, Egyptian geese, African Crowned Cranes, Emu, fainting goats, mini zebu, mini horses,mini donkey, alpacas, llamas, horses, 5 Great Pyrenees and a cat.

I was told they were golden by the owner......oh well golden or silver....they look great.....thanks for letting me know.....i'm all excited about this breed i just got......wee.gif

How sweet! They are very pretty birds indeed!

Im the person who has animals adopting me not the other way around. And hey, I've almost got a full on farm! I ended up with chickens on accident .. But I couldn't imagine my life without them. CHECK OUT MY PAGE!!!

Look how proud that rooster is!

Married to the old dude, 0 human kids, 2 horses, 4 cockatiels, 2 parakeets,  1 Blue Front Amazon, 1 Yellow Head Amazon, 4 cockatiels, two parakeets, 1 eccentric peacock, 1 gsd, 1 pet terrapin, 1 Blue Copper Maran rooster, and 10 world famous Jersey Giants! New to the group is 3 Black Marans  chicks and one unidentified chick.

 

 

Stan the Man will be missed.

Yes, the Silvers will be a silvery white on the top line, dark on the bottom. Goldens will be a Buff Orp Golden on the top line, dark on the bottom BBReds same thing, etc.... Except for whites, hehe.

thx.....im trying to edit my thread and put silver but doesnt let me submit my change......idunno.gif.....dont know why its doing this....i'll try tomorrow
