WHO IS READY FOR MORE PICS?!

Immigrant from the Netherlands, lived 7 years in the States, now in a beautiful valley in Wyoming, husband of a lovely wife, 3 boys under the age 4yrs old and twins on the way. Owner of 5 pomeranians (AKC breeder blue merle's, calico's (rare colors) 1 Husky, 15 hens, 3 roo's of different breeds and a bunch of other feathered friends and hairy friends..

I love this thread!  What a wonderful thing you are doing for your residents.  I wish I could do pet therapy in the ICU where I'm a nurse - I'm sure people would get better so much faster!

We have a dozen different breeds of chickens and we love them all!

This is so heartwarming! If you do another hatch, you should try silkies or cochins. They are so cute when they are babies! Even when they're grown up. Especially with the fuzzy feet!  D.gif big_smile.png

5 cochins, 3 chocolate orpingtons, 2 barred rock, 5 black plymouth rock, 5 silkies, 1 mille fleur d'uccle, 3 dogs, 1 cat, and a bunch of cows.

it is the most inspirational thing to see what you are bringing to these people's lives.  it's a brilliant idea.

if you don't want to use newspaper because it may give them splayed legs & pine shavings get into everything, use chux pads.  i bet you have some of those around. lol
