No eggs...too much shade?

I was wondering if too much shade in my pen can cause my chickens to not lay?

Everybody needs a little chicken therapy in their lives!

Naked Necks, Lavender Orpingtons, Cream Legbars, FBCM, Cuckoo Marans, Barnevelders, Ameracuanas and Olive Eggers.

I wouldn't think so. The chickens enjoy a nice shady spot to lay their eggs, I've seen my birds push their way under a clump of weeds to make a nest. tongue.png
