I would appreciate any help. I have given it water and baby duck starter, as that is all I had and the feed store is closed. It was very cold and almost dead tonight, but seems better now that it is under a light. I will upload picture from my laptop.

I think it's good you're taking care of this chick, what a nice thing to do!
I've given my chicks duck starter too before, once when we ran out of feed. For one night, that shouldn't be a problem. It's good that you've given it some heat, that's probably what it needed the most. Some people suggest adding sugar to the water to give a bit of extra strength. Good luck, I hope she makes it!

My daughter told me to give it half water and half Gatorade. Do you think that is ok? I just got two baby Rouen Ducks two days ago. I am going to post their pictures too!

Best of luck with your little baby!  Sounds like you are doing all the right things.  I think the Gatorade should be fine.

Gatoraide is high in iron - pedialyte would be a better choice.  Good luck.

Sounds like you're doing the right thing. Just keep that light on him/her.
