Goose Poop

I have two geese, sebatopol gander and a domestic goose. I allso have two muscovy drakes (boys). They get along fine and hang with each other, but the tiny ducks are at the top of the peking order and the big adult gander has to wait his turn to fee :D it's quite funy. As for their poop it's not messy its all most like dog poo but in a miniature form and made from grass, hard and doesn't smell at all ( as it is there main diet ). Their really cute and they are not aggresive. :)

Geese poo is like duck poo but MORE.  And larger.  If you move them around, it washes away fine.  If they are all in the same area for awhile it needs washed away with water from a hose or something.  I wouldn't want them on my porch, or where my kids were going to play barefoot, but it isn't terrible.   It does have an odor if it piles up . . . on the other hand, it is very good for your grass . . .

Agree with above post. LOTS of poop in these birds. Mostly, when they are fed grass, it's like little wet green cigars. But the texture changes depending on their diet. My goose leaves a brownish stinker or two every day - like a large ladleful of really foul-smelling gravy. 

Make sure they graze a lot or at least get their greens--greens that are dense and high in fibre, not watery; think of dandelion greens and not iceberg or romaine lettuce--and you will find they are a lot less smelly than ducks. Their poop also tends to be more formed. I pretty strongly believe that geese need high fibre in their diets. It sure makes a difference. Every duck I've had has been wetter and smellier than geese.
