I have a little sister, she is 11 years old. she said that she had a scary dream about chickens last night... she said that she dreamnt that she was sleeping in bed, then all 70 of my chickens laid hundreds of eggs on top of her. then all the roosters crowed in her ears at once so that she woke up, and smashed all the eggs on top of her.....

I have no idea what to think of this.. Do you think that it is a bad omen?

I have four pearl guineas, 8 white guineas, 9 black sex-links, i Americana hen, 24 Rhode island red hens, one rooster. One mean black rooster, one barred rock hen, one wyandot hen, 6 australorps.

No, I do not think it was a sign of any kind. I think she was just stressed.

When I am having a hard week, stressed, or worrying about something I have nightmares too. However mine are mostly something horrible happening to my beloved chickens.

I would tell her not to worry about it. Every one has bad dreams at one point or time.

He is like an eagle that stirs up its nest. It hovers over it little ones. It spreads out it wings to catch them on its feathers.

I agree with GoldenSparrow. Dreams rarely mean anything and mostly it's just our subconscious using things we know or are familiar with to work issues out.
