Does Gertrude need a new name?

Hi All,  Gertrude is a mutt chick - I am guessing mixed with silkie because of the poof on top of the head.  She is just about 8 weeks and I am hoping she stays Gertrude.  Please let me know if you have any thoughts -  Thanks so much!gert1.jpg

The pictures won't load, to check if it's a pullet or cockerel, check the comb, wattles and legs. The bigger and redder the comb and wattles are it's more likely a rooster.

It's the shape that makes the breed, and the color that makes the variety.

Thank you! That looks like a pullet, the crest is very small and the comb is reddening.
