Mice in my pigeon house!

Thread Starter

I am so upset... This winter mice moved into what i thought was my deluxe pigeon house. I have had my homers in this pigeon loft for 3 years with no problems, but a few months ago mice seem to have moved in and now I can't get them out. They steal the pigeon eggs right out from the nest! My birds have had it and have literally flown the coop. I had 11, now I have only one youngster who is sticking around. Do you think that if I can get rid of the mice my birds will come back?

Mommy to a girl, 2 boys, 6 horses, 2 dogs, 2 cats, 2 pigeons, 18 chickens, a bunny, and a duck.  Loving it!

I make a small wooden box with a small hole in it and put rat poison bars from the co-op in there. The mice can reach the bait, but the pigeons cant. This will clear them out in a short time.
