question about where to find a certain breed... - Page 2

Hello Catballou24,
I am also on a hunt for BLRW but I saw your post and thought of the lady I got my BLRW hatching eggs from. She is in Shepard TX.  Her birds are the most beautiful I have seen.  Unfortunately I am new to hatching and only had one rooster hatch out but they were shipped from TX to ME so that is along way. Anyway she atleast is in the same state as you.  Last time I talked to her she was thinking of starting to sell adults and chicks so I will give you her info.

Her name is Stacey Bliss email queenb@gotpackets.com

I figure it can't hurt for you to get in contact with her and see if you can work something out with her.  She is very nice and helpful.

Hope this helps.

Heather

Catballou-
I bought some eggs from Stacey and hatched out a beautiful pullet. She has great looking birds.

I just got some from valentine hatchery and I really liked there service, They are really great. I also would recommend gar creek poultry. I had a bad experience with red dirt chicken ranch. I didn't get my chicks, an email about them, or an apology after the paypal dispute - I wouldn't recommend them.

I only live about 25 miles from the Red Dirt Chicken Ranch and I have been trying to contact them for two years. They won't return a call or answer an email. I wanted to use them becaus ethey are so close but I wouldn't use them now if they were just across the street.
Gar Creek and Bill Braden have been very nice and prompt about answering my emails to them.
