This IS a buff silkie ROO, right?

This is our Buff Silkie, Tina. Or, rather, Tony. Right?

(S)he is from the feed store, before which (s)he came from IDEAL.

I can sometimes sex from photos on BYC, but when it comes to my own I really need some fresh eyes to see. It's probably pretty obvious, but I don't completely trust my instincts (yet).

One day, I just looked at her and said, "whoa. Tina. You look Rooster-y"

Her comb and wattles were way bigger than the others'.

I'm guessing she was about 8 weeks old then.

I'll need to start finding a home pretty quick for Tony, (assuming it is a Tony) as I cannot have a rooster here.

There are a lot of pics, but that tends to give people a better concept of the bird when sexing.

What do you think?

I tried to get a wing shot, because somebody always says "Take a picture of the wing and i can tell ya for sure"

This is T's left wing.

Thanks in advance, and if anyone in the SF bay area would want to adopt Tony, feel free to reply. He's an awesome forager and usually comes for food when I whistle.

boy...

The difference between pets and pests is only on which side of the fence they're standing... keep your animals in your own property.
