seem like a good breed, if i had the room i would probably raise a batch of them they seem like they would be a good 4h starter show bird...considering i dont see many of this breed in my class...

I have been lurking on BYC for a few months now - but now that I have some young pullets I thought it was time to join and participate.

I look forward to reading and seeing lots of information on this Site.

Greetings all!

3 Black Copper Marans (4 weeks old)

1 Rhode Island Red (2 weeks old)

1 Buff Orpington (1 week old)

1 Bard Rock (recently hatched)

and

1 unidentifiable (by me, who is a novice) rescue bantam - who, so far, seems to be mostly good at just going to the bathroom A LOT.
