Hi Everyone,

Our 5 day old chick was perfectly healthy up until yesterday morning. then he started getting lethargic and now he has yellow diarrhea, which just sticks all to him. I keep cleaning him off. i read somewhere to open up a capsule of a probiotic pill and mix it with 2 cups of warm water. i did that and that's what i'm giving all the chicks to drink. i have him in a separate part of the brooder away from the others. i read that yogurt is good to give them. should i just get plain yogurt or what?

what else can i do? he just cries all the time.

I don't know exactly what to do about the diarrhea, but give him a small stuffed animal to keep him company. He'll cry because he misses a buddy. Make sure there is plenty of water. Could be coccidia, hopefully someone else will chime in

Sold several of our pullets, could not overwinter 26 additional birds!
