Stages of feathering

Can someone explain the stages of feathering for chicks and cickens?  Often the chicks don't look anything like they will when they grow up.  When do they start developing their adult coloring?  I have some mystery bantams and it is so hard to figure out what they are going to be because they keep changing.

my chickens started feathering at about the age of 1 day. you first start to see feathers above the wing. then the thy, the stomach, and chest. When the whole body is feathered, the fluffy head starts to a little bit greasy because the head feathers are coming in. hop this helps
