My little rooster is bleeding.

I have a little rooster and a big rooster. I had them separated, but as it looks my little rooster got hung in the fence and my big rooster tore him up. Know my little roosters comb is bleeding and he has blood all over him. I put him in a cage and rinsed the blood off and know he is drying inside the cage. I just have Neosporin and some other creams.

Please help! Should I put on the Neosporin and should I put him back with the other little chickens.

If he has stopped bleeding, I would apply Neosporin and put him back out.  However, it might be better to keep him in, safe and warm, until you are sure that he won't bleed and give him time to heal.  If he starts bleeding again, the other chickens could peck at him and make it worse.

Yea, maybe keep him over night.  Will the big roo still be there?

One of my pullets awhile back got her skin ripped out on a small part of her back by a predator.

I applied neosporin til it was better and scabbed over a bit.
