Will They Escape?

Attached are pictures of the enclosure I have my five RIR's, five Brown Leghorns and two Black Giants in. It is between 4 1/2 and 5 feet tall. How long will they be able to stay in this without a cover? They are 1 1/2 weeks old.

Also by the way, does anyone know if Black Giant hens have spurs? My two chicks have tiny little bumps there.

My 4 week old RIR has mastered flying out of the 2' tall brooder this week. It has a top so she can't practice all the time, only when we open it. I think if she had more time to practice she'd be going much higher now. You'll get a few weeks out of it anyway.

I'm looking to swap Coturnix eggs for turkey eggs.

Not long ... they can fly straight up rather quickly .... I'd say 3 weeks I had an EE fly up to the top of my brooder when I moved the top to change the water ...shocked the heck out of me!
