Transporting hatching eggs?

So, I had one chicken that went broody on me, then today I had a second one decide to go ahead and do the same.  I guess I need to find a couple hatching eggs for each of them, even though we really don't have the room for more chickens. 

 

The problem is, we live in the middle of nowhere, and the only places I have been able to find any hatching eggs is around an hour away.  Do I need to do anything special to transport them, or can I just stick them in a box for the hour ride home? 

 

Unless someone knows of any other hatching eggs between Branson and Springfield Missouri.  :)

Kara, Theres a good hatchery in Springfield called Estes Hatchery, 805 N. Meteor Av.  Phone 417-865-8874  You might find some hatchn eggs there. We used to live in West Plains and I've bought a lot of chicks from them. I know where Bradleyville is, so you might be a little farther away than you'd like, but it's the nearest I know to you. Love the Ozarks and sure miss southern Mo. (except in the winter)  GOOD LUCK

The thing is, that is still an hour away.  What do I need to do in order to transport them that distance??  Do I need to keep them warm?  If so, how?
