Converting the underneath of a playset to a chicken coop

Here's the original playset (it's actually midway under conversion at this point):

I think I spent about $100 on materials.

That is an awesome idea!  But, question?  Is there an interior shelter?  Where is the nest box?

(1) There is no interior shelter.  I've been thinking about that one, but I'm not sure it's as necessary as people think.  They are birds, and are made for the outdoors.  I'll probably come up with something when it gets really cold, but I've got a while before that happens.  I may just get some boards and lean them against the sides for protections or something.

 

(2) I haven't done the nest boxes yet.  I will probably stick them on the tabletop.  Nothing fancy.  I've got a few months before they will lay eggs. They are only two weeks old at the moment.
