Thread Starter

Hi! Just got my first chooks today, five of them! There all hybrid layers and majority of their names are pending apart from  2: Doris- a Speckledy and Eddie a white star. I have 2 speckledys, one lohmann/ warren, a white star and a bluebelle; they are all pol so eggs are soon to be eggspected (bad pun). They are living in a converted stable on the yard which i loan my pony and have been caught on the roosting pole getting settled in. Cannot wait for tomorrow to check on them when they will be allowed a 10 minute wander to adjust them to there new free ranging status! Any name suggestions very welcome and no stereotypical london accents! Please im from yorkshire!

"This is Heaven."

"Well, that's confusing," the traveler said. "The man down the road said that was Heaven, too."

"Oh, you mean the place with the gold street? No. That's hell."

"Doesn't it make you mad that they use your name like that?"

"No, they're doing us a favor. They screen out unsuitable candidates -- the folks who would leave their pet behind."

Helen: Daria, do you have to look at everything in such a negative light?

Daria: Could you possibly be referring to the harsh light of reality?
