Vent issue help!!

Image shows the vent pushed out with the egg still stuck in it.  do I just push it back in?

I have never had this issue, but from what I have read you are supposed to get a wet, warm cloth and hold it to the vent area or soak the area in question.

Our urban farm family consists of 1 dog, 2 cats, 10 chickens-3 black orpington, 2 ameracauna (1 blue and 1 black), 3 blr wyandottes (2 splash and 1 blue), 2 lavendar orpingtons, and a rabbit.

Will it go back in by itself?  The vent box has an egg stuck in it.

The egg needs to come out, but the vent will go back in. From what I have read (again I haven't had this problem), it is important to get it out because it can cause ill health to the animal.
