x2 - While I'm no turkey expert, and by far no expert, I immediately thought turkey poult when I looked at that picture.

 

OP - do you have any more pictures of the poult/chick? Maybe some of it standing?

No Ameraucana has stripes and brown smudgy markings like that, and no Ameraucana has an I in the name, so, definitely not an Ameraucana.

It can't really be a Leghorn either. Notice how there is no comb on the chick, when chicks are about that old they have signs of comb. Turkeys have snoods, chickens have combs. An "egg"cellent thing to remember. thumbsup.gif

Look at those big feet!  I don't know if I should say sorry or congrats.. turkey's get pretty big!

My daughter just loves her Turkey, Turkey!!!  He is just the sweetest thing.  Enjoy yours :)  He is very cute!!!
