hiyas all i have missed north carolina so much that i have decided to start a bit of a hobby farm with chickens.so far i got 6 chickens each one different lol.i got a silver laced wyandotte, rhode island red, silkie bantam, aracauna, black australarpe, and a black sex link, they are all approximately 2 weeks old.and i'm in a full head of steam to get my first coop done.i think i have settled on about 30 laying hens and i'm thinking that rhode islands and black sex links will be my starting flock....fer the most part lol.as soon as i get this coop done they will be ordered.which ought to be in the next few days.i'd appreciate any and all opinions and tips/tricks i can get.i do love them so....,.so much even that at the moment the 6 i got are in my bedroom!o0o and let me not forget the 1 lil guinea i got,not really sure what kind she is being i can't find a pic of her breed she is yellow and thats all i know at the moment....i'm thinking shes a white crested guinea but being they are all white i'm not to sure right now.hope ya'll have a great day and i hope to hear from ya's soon!

Thought i bought egg vending machines.....instead i got chickens who do not get the idea that me giving feed means them giving me breakfast!
