Having big trouble with my order from SUREHATCH! Would not recommend ordering from them!

I totally agree, we have been having a terrible time getting our order from them since it was originally placed at the beginning of June. Phone calls simply go to a call center in India (yes, they admitted they were a call center in India), where they have NO WAY to deal with merchandise or even complaints. I will be very happy if I can get my money back from them at this point.

Thanks to a phone number listed here, we called GQF directly to deal with the problem. They found my order just fine, and from their end, it sounds as though Surehatch is having a whole lot of problems with fulfilling orders. I suspect that Surehatch probably owes a lot of people a whole lot of money right now.

GQF was a very helpful and easy to work with AMERICAN company. I would say support GQF directly or through ANY OTHER vendor than Surehatch.

My advice?

If you have an outstanding order from Surehatch, go to your bank or Paypal and try to get your money back before they have completely run off with it and you can't get it back. Call your local Attorney General as well to file a complaint. If you want to order, poultry supplies, avoid Surehatch as they are a totally disreputable company.

I had actually tried to go that route, but the BBB cannot find ANY business in Santa Monica, CA (the address on the Surehatch website) with that name. Even looking up "JH GROUP LLC " that is the vendor that charged my account is problematic - it brings up a Real Estate Investment group.

Businesses often have a "DBA" where they call the business one name, but the bank information is under another name. This is very, very common practice in the business world. However, after doing a little on-line digging, it looks like the business is "owned" by a couple of South African guys:

I have some other, more disturbing information about the company that is also easily verifiable on the internet if anyone wants to contact an Attorney General about the company.....

The more I look, the more shady they seem...

I need an IT person who is interested in following up on some things I have found (or people to share emails they have received with the header information intact). I think there is MUCH more to this picture than first appears, but I simply need more eyes looking at the problem. :)

BTW, Surehatch's head office is a rental box at a UPS store in California. The plot thickens.....
