My Salmon Faverolle went broody so I borrowed a pen and 12 fertilized eggs from a friend. I moved her to her new home last night without too much fuss and she is sitting on them.
However, every time I check on her, some of the eggs are not underneath her. Is a dozen too many? Should I remove a few or let her figure it out?
She is one year old, medium sized and normally lays a smallish egg. These eggs are larger than hers.
