How many eggs for my broody?

My Salmon Faverolle went broody so I borrowed a pen and 12 fertilized eggs from a friend. I moved her to her new home last night without too much fuss and she is sitting on them.

However, every time I check on her, some of the eggs are not underneath her. Is a dozen too many? Should I remove a few or let her figure it out?

She is one year old, medium sized and normally lays a smallish egg. These eggs are larger than hers.

hi

iread somewhere that you can put enough under her that theyre covered, then take one or is it two away? something like that. Also you should always have an uneven amount as apparently they sit together better for her. How is she going with broodyness? My friend has a faverolle, she sat on eggs but left them half way through, my friend was gutted, is this normal? I have silkie crosses and pekin bantams so highly broody so not sure about other breeds?

What do you think?
