A sickening gurgling sound was let out as MetalBeak fell to the ground. Nyra gasped, allowing herself to fall before she caught herself and flapped her wings. "Pure Ones! Fall back! To me!" The few remaining Pure Ones squeaked as they followed her, defeated by the Guardians.
That was many, many years ago. After her mate was killed, Nyra swore revenge. She's strengthened the army a hundred times over, and their numbers are many times the size it was. The Guardians have defeated the Pure Ones times before, but the Pure Ones are planning something huge...

This should clear up what a Chaw is...
At the great tree, there are fields called chaws. The chaws include healing, tracking, combat, navigation, search and rescue, blacksmithing, weather interpretation, colliering, and Ga'hoolology. The King and Queen will tap an owl for their chaw.
The Pure Ones~
The Pure Ones are a society of tytos. They want to enslave all owls that are not tytos and rule the world without pity. Only the Guardians can stop them and save the owl kingdoms from them.
Ranks-
Lead Male- Leader, directs the soldiers. Is often mates with the lead female.
Lead Female- Directs the soldiers and is often mates with the lead male.
Healer- Heals the wounded soldiers.
Warrior- Goes to battle, fights off intruders.
Guard- Guards the location and sets off an alarm if intruders are discovered.
Patroller- Goes out and kidnaps owlets to be used as pickers or soldiers if they are a tyto.
Picker- Is moon blinked and picks through owl pellets for flecks. They are rarely tytos and are always owlets.
