Australorp Rooster, Docile? Friendly?

I love my Australorp Hen, Thinking about getting a rooster for her. Does anyone know if the roosters are as friendly as the hens?

Roosters are generally the same freindliness of the hen of the same breed, they just may be more agressive/protective, or, unless they are more agressive/protective. But I've heard Austrolopes are good roosters! Good luck!

I have five hens and two pullets- one seven year old red star, Luna, one white leghorn, Sage, one SLW, Pepper, one adorable fluffy EE, Bedazzle, and one black star, Buckbeak. My two pullets are Nutella, my wheaten marans, thirty five weeks, (who is yet to lay an egg!), and her best friend, Sammy, seventeen weeks.

We've had 3 Australorp roosters - the first one was friendly as could be until he and his flock got attacked by a fox.  After that he was mean and we had to get rid of him.

The two Australorp roosters we have now are completely friendly as well - they'll let you pick them up, they eat from your hand, etc.
