Roo with new babies

Hi everyone!  I have 35 CX, 5 GLW and 5 Delaware chicks coming a week from next Monday and I have a question.  I was wanting to brood them in the chicken coop beings the weather has been so nice, my coop has a pen that is divided from the rest of the coop that I keep my almost 1 year old RIR Rooster in.  Can I keep the rooster in with the babies or is that a bad idea?

It depends on the rooster.  you should probably introduce them and see if they get along.

You can try and see what happens  If he gets rough or hurts them take him out for awhile then try again
