Strange throat feathers? pics

Was wondering if anyone could tell me if the feathers on this pullets neck look strange to them?

If so, what does it look like?

I'm a total noob and this is my first bird any help will be much appreciated

They are new feathers coming in. The sheath will crumble off as they grow out to make pretty new feathers!

Chickens are an addiction.... find your local support group. 
1 mille fleur d'uccle hen, 3 mille fleur d'uccle/serama hens & 3 roosters, 2 buff brahma hens & 1 bantam hen, 3 silkie hens, 6 production red hens

Thanks charsbirds i feel alot better knowing thats normal for my bird and a little silly that i didnt know what sheath was lol I do now and im glad I asked!
