Jeffers- www.jeffers.com

they can really help- you need the antibiotics. It will be a lifesaver for you-- if the chick doesn't get better in a couple days it really is suffering. I know it's so hard. I also get so attached to all my chicks and it's a painful learning experience when the little ones are not well.

I would recommend you get the antibiotics, as well as probiotics (yogurt, ACV) and just keep them on hand. I've always got Sav-A-Chick (electrolytes) Molasses, and Tetracycline on hand now- since chicks always seem to take a down turn on the weekend when none of the stores are open.

Good luck! I'll be rooting for you!

If you can get to a grocery or drug store they have unflavored Pedialite for babies. Put that in a medicine dropper you can get one t the store or pharmacy and feed it to the chick. It is electrolytes . It will help til you can get antibiotic s.
