This is the little yellow gal (Lemon Drop) a month later! Any more definitive ideas on what exactly she is? She's the biggest of all of them, and seems to be very calm.

And here is the now not so tiny little baby (Nugget) from the original photo I posted! I love her colors!

 

It's been so much fun watching them grow! They are now in their new coop, and while it's not totally complete, they are definitely enjoying all the room to move.

they are both ee's and both pullets...i want the first one :D

And you'll have to fight my 2 year old for her, lol! She's very attached to her "Wimmin Dwop"!

lol sounds like my kids and "their" chickens...just got my first egg from the one the silkie/d'uccle mixes and the kids were so happy was going to put it in the fridge but they insisted that i put it in the incubator and im not expecting it to hatch maybe develop some and thats it...her coloration reminds me of the golden neck d'uccle's color in a way

Fun! We're looking forward to eggs! No roosters though (hopefully anyway) so they'll definitely be going to the fridge. I can't wait until their faces fill out more with their feathers and combs. They look like awkward teenagers with giant feet, too big bodies, and little skinny heads!
