Got our first egg...Now what?

Got our first egg from our Production Reds...celebrate.gif

 

Now will she keep laying progressively larger eggs over the next month?

This one was about the size of eggs labeled 'small' in the supermarket;

but I thought it would be smaller from stuff I've read here...Anyways, we're happy for sure!

 

Do we wash the egg and put in the refrig?

 

How do we KEEP eggs?

Eggs are small at first, they will get bigger with time, as far as washing them, I do not. This means they last a longer time . If you wash the eggs they last only about 3 weeks in the fridge. Just rub off the poo, and your good to go!
