It almost looks like an Buff Orpington! And no problem Wvchix yippiechickie.gif

It's the shape that makes the breed, and the color that makes the variety.

All Chicks should be born the natural way, with a mother

All creatures should be treated without cruelty

Everyone should be a chicken lover!!!!!!!

99.999% of girls would die if Justin Bieber appeared at their doorstep and asked for a date. If your that 0.0001% Who's wiping blood from your fist, put this in your siggy.

Looks like a pullet. It has dark feathers coming in and a dark wash down the legs. Roosters are lighter in color and don't have the dark on their legs, typically.

Showing Modern Game Bantams and Self Blue d'Anvers! We also have a small flock of pets/layers.

Yep... barred rock

Is it true that the roos don't get the dark wash down their legs? I thought all BR got the wash but in the hens it's a lot darker. I have 3 BR that all have the dark wash but one of them is getting a mighty big and pink comb [much more than the other 2, they are all the same age]

Mommy to two girls, 1 and 3. A surprise [I mean that in more than one way] baby due in September. 3 cats. 1 turtle. 6 hens..RIR, BR, Leghorn, NHR, Jersey Giant and an Americauna. A country girl stuck in the burbs [for now!]
